No/Not yet. Minis are tempting and I have the book, but I'm trying very hard not to start any new 40K armies

No. Tempted to get out the old 40k armies and introduce a new set of gamers to them, but I never had Dark Eldar. |

Not interested in weak bondage elves, except to crush them with the obscene volumes of firepower my guardsmen put out. |

I'm really tempted by the latest anime-inspired Dark Eldar, but I've resisted the urges so far. I had them when they were first introduced in 3rd ed. but I always preferred shooty armies over fast-hitting close combat ones, so I got rid of them. I guess they're just 'not my style.' They do look cool though. So my answer is 'not anymore,' but a chance of 'not yet' or 'no' with an eye to the future. |

No. The home has an army but it does not see much use. Not a popular force in these parts. x42 |

Just picked up some very nice painted units on Ebay. I don't know how much fun the army will be. From all indications you spend most of your time getting shot up. Oh well, they are very nice figures. |

I have a force. It is pretty small at present but I have a couple of boxes of wracks that should expand it nicely. |
ZULUPAUL | 08 Apr 2012 2:27 a.m. PST |
Nope, don't care for the figures or the concept |

sort of. ish. both my self and my wife have a pile of figs to assemble and paint, but arnt doing 40k at the moment, when we get round to it, yes, and in the past ( 3rd ed) she had quite a punchy army. |
Mooseworks8 | 08 Apr 2012 5:11 a.m. PST |
* not yet Thinking of making a strike force of them for FUBAR 40K. |
etotheipi | 08 Apr 2012 5:57 a.m. PST |
Not a 40K player. I have a couple hundred Dark Eldar figures. |
Smokey Roan | 08 Apr 2012 8:23 a.m. PST |
I get a sort of "Glitter Vampire" vibe from them. |
kallman | 08 Apr 2012 10:24 a.m. PST |
Not yet but I have two squads of the old basic DE troops. I was going to paint them up and use them as allies for my Black Legion Chaos Space Marines in games of Apocalypse. I have been tempted to collect the army now that it has been revamped. But then I see all I already have for 40K and the current cost makes me rethink going in that direction. |
Chris B | 08 Apr 2012 10:41 a.m. PST |
Yes. I find they match up pretty well against everyone except Imperial Guard. |
Little Big Wars | 08 Apr 2012 11:33 a.m. PST |
I would with the old models (and to a lesser extent rules), but considering I'm already investing time into getting some 2nd edition inspired Orks up and running I probably won't bother. |
HornetsNestMinis | 09 Apr 2012 6:34 a.m. PST |
Not in 40K. But the new models make great space pirates in my pulp sci-fi games. |
Uesugi Kenshin | 09 Apr 2012 8:07 a.m. PST |
I did +/- 10 years ago when I played 40k. No mas. |

No. I'd like to, but I need to get rid of one of my four armies in order to do it (space limitations) and nice as Jes' sculpts are, I don't like them more than what I have already. I have the non-spiky cousins, the craftworlders. That said, I haven't played a game of 40k in a few months (with any of my 4 armies) and I'll be sitting out 6th edition whilst I play other games (did this for 2nd ed, too). Doesn't mean I'm selling my stuff, I just won't be using it in 40k. |

Not a 40k player but I do have one box of flying troops as I think they are cool and want to build one up. Cannot even remember their names now! |
FreemanL | 11 Apr 2012 5:04 a.m. PST |
Yes. I like the challenges of the army. They are not as flexible as Eldar and they can't take a hit. Close Combat is their forte so the trick is always trying to get them to live long enough to be effective. That is the lure to me. The new models are very nice and while I have a lot of the older figures from 3rd Edition, I have brought my force up to 2000 points with the newer models. It is not an "every day" army for me, but one that I am glad that I own and use for those times where I want to think when I game. Larry |

nope, used to be, sold them off, dont like 40k anymore, was tempted by some of the new DE but a/ way too expensive, b/ use of cast, c/ going into 15mm anyway. shame as the models in the main are nice, much better than the old look. Persoanlly though I'd have preferred a darker corrupted version of the Eldar – inc dark versions of aspect warriors etc. |
