Today we visited the USS North Carolina (BB 55) I had a great time and dragged my kids all over the ship, Muhahaha.

Now this is our third battleship, and it seemed the smallest of the 3. The other 2 were the USS Massachusetts and the USS New Jersey. Of course the Jersey is the biggest, but BB55 seemed small.

Perhaps it was the setting, tucked in a small canal off the Cape Fear River, and some of the view of the ship is blocked by the visitor center on one side, and woods on the other.

So any good online charts with sizes?

Thanks, Xin

ah never mind, Wiki answered my own question.

USS NJ, 887ft, 7in
USS NC, 728.8ft
USS Mass, 680.8ft

Size chart with ship silhouettes would be cool though.

Thanks, Xin

I found this one, US battleships and heavy cruisers:
