Just posted up a quick video of a pre-box unboxing (boxes are printing now) of our 28mm hard plastic SF USMC for Alien War.

There are 24 Marines per box (2 full rifle squads) for $29.95 USD.

Thanks again!

Dear sir, can i please have an unboxing at my place?

Wargaminginmaine07 Apr 2012 3:08 a.m. PST

Congratulations, Tony (and Howard, Tim and John). Its great to see the figures in production after you've put so much time and effort into them.

Good luck!

Those look great. I like the way the bugs look, too.

This is the sort of thing I was looking for several years ago. The proportions look good compared to those "other" plastic sci-fi ground pounders I've used this past decade. I definitely want to pick up a couple sets if at all possible.

Pictors Studio07 Apr 2012 7:06 a.m. PST

They look good. I'll definitely be getting a box, or should that be defiantly be getting a box?

Mardaddy07 Apr 2012 8:47 a.m. PST

Prompted me to order a set. Done.

Looks awesome! Great figs and nice options, and having extra legs is great…

…but for the love of heaven, please take the first 8 bucks you get in profit and buy a tripod, or just tape it to something that will hold your webcam still!

These blokes have copped a bit of negative comment over these figures on other forums , i dont know the ins and outs and i dont care, it seems they have produced a quality product so far. I will be getting a few sets for sure once they hit the Aussie shore.
I noticed the shoulder and arm join had an odd fit , is that because of the bulkiness of the flak vest perhpa s, either way thankyou for showing us the video.

cheers Tom

How do the head compare to other plastic heads on the sci-fi mini market? Size-wise, I mean. What noggin' swappin' do you see happening?

Well done Tony those look great.

Nothing like success with a project to finish an argument.

Best of luck and fortune with your current and future plans.

Very nice I'm gonna get me some

billthecat09 Apr 2012 12:47 p.m. PST

Hello. Looking good! what weapon/options come in the box?

Defiance Games10 Apr 2012 1:49 p.m. PST

Thanks all! It's been a crazy long journey but we're finally getting there. We are just waiting on the box printing and these will start to ship out. I should have a date tomorrow or Thursday from the printer so that I can then estimate shipping days.

@ billthecat – there are 5 weapons on each frame: 2 M-46 rifles (one in an over-the-bicep carry pose the other at the shoulder), an M-46 carbine (shortened), an M-46 with an underslung grenade launcher, and the SAW.

We have several heavy weapons sets in the works – and we'll include some additional Marine weapons in the mix – shotgun, etc.

Bugs are getting molded now – Germans are wrapping up final tweaks to the designs and we're adding in some extra parts to the set. I hope to wrap those up by next week.

Thanks again everyone!
Tony

Those do look pretty good. Be interesting to see what else comes out for them in the near-ish future – a big part of what makes GW plastic kits so appealing is the sheer number of frames to mine parts from, which we'll only see with these as time goes by.
