I've just completed a set of posts on my blog linked to the recent restoration of the Tiger tank at the Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset. Last week I posted here [ TMP link ] that I had painted a Tiger model from the Battlefront FOW range, well at the weekend I went to see the real thing.

I went a little trigger happy with my cameras shooting nearly 1000 pictures plus video. You'll be relived to know I did manage to edit this down to a reasonable number! For those that find this sort of thing interesting here are links to my review and pictures from the rest of Tiger Day:

Admittedly these beasts don't fit the category of 'miniature' but they are great inspiration to anyone interested in recreating armoured warfare on the tabletop. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Many thanks for the postings. I've passed the links on to several co-workers who are interested in things military.

Could the cables on the sides be used for pulling the tracks back onto the wheelset?
