While overseas I picked up a copy of this movie- Polish with English subtitles. Excellent film and gives a good feel for the times. I was surprised to see a whole column of FT-17s. Are there really that many still around?

Were they real or mock-ups?

How were the action scenes. Not that that is the only thing in a movie, but were they more than 10 minutes of the film?

Its listed as the first 3D movie produced/filmed in Poland. Did you see it in 3D, or was that only available in theatres in Poland?

Looks interesting. A number of Americans fought in this short war. Would be interesting from a wargaming stance. I imagine Russian Civil War figs would work for this.

It was in 3D in Glasgow, though there is indeed a sizable Polish population here :o)

I thought it an excellent film, if in the 'Alexander Nevsky' school of history. Quite a lot of action, and a lot of reasonable looking kit. As our club are running a series of '1920' games at the moment, it came out at a good time.

What "short war"? It started in early 1919 and continued to the end of 1920.

The number of Americans was large, depending on how you define "American". Most of them were recently emigrated Poles, though some were US born.

RCW and WWI figures allow you do the uniforms quite well in pretty much every scale now.

Garnered some decent reviews although it was apparently the recipient of five "Snake Awards" – Polish equivalent of the Razzies:

It was all over the place in Beijing DVD stores. My copy was great to watch with English subtitles
