Bought a couple of vehicle blisters for my Afrika Korps from Forged in Battle. These are my first FiB vehicles, I already love the crisp FiB infantry. These tanks look amazing, casting quality at its finest. Full review with pictures of the castings and a painted up Pz II F on my blog:

Nice review. I don't care for the bases, that's why I was so excited to hear that their new line will not have them!

Well I just hope that if they make models without bases – that they won't stretch the height of the vehicles like Battlefront does to compensate the height in relation to based infantry… because that looks ugly if anything.

If only it were true but alas, check the calendar.

Thank God they'll stick to the bases then.
I never do April fools jokes, so I actually believed what was written here.

I put all my wargame vehicles on bases because they look better that way – and match the infantry (which is also based, of course).

Also saves the cramming silliness you get in some games play.

But I prefer the model to be made without the base attached (so it has normal ground clearance etc.) then fix it to an appropriate base myself.

These models look good.

I can't wait to see the size of the base on the Ratte they have in development. :-)

That's been my beef as well – can't wait to see the new line…

Great review.. I would think about picking up a lot of their stuff but those bases are a deal breaker for me. I understand some people love bases on their vehicles but it's easier to add a base to a vehicle then to remove it :-)
