Was the six barrel Nebelwerfer 41 ever mounted on anything other than the small towed chassis shown in the photo on the link?

I know nebelwerfer in general were mounted in other forms as self-propelled versions. But I would have expected to see this verson on halftracks or even small fully tracked vehicles. I would especially like photos if any of such vehicles.

Dunno, but I've thought the same thing… it would certainly look cool.

As an excited 13yr old i once had one mounted on a Sdkfz251 halftrack (where the MG sheild usually sat) – it did indeed look very cool :-) Of course I didn`t know any better :-)

Problem is the rocket back-blast, I suppose you could mount one on a flat bed truck with the crew well out of the way. I`ve never seen any pics though :-(

Can't immediately find any references for the "41" being mounted but that does not mean that there was not anything Individual 40's were mounted on the sides of various vehicles

I have found examples for the 15-cm Panzerwerfer 42. which was mounted on halftracks-

The SWS halftracks mounted 10 barrels, like shown, on the Panzerwerfer 42, above.
