I received it yeasterday and I decided to open the box today.

The difficulty is average. I used super glue and plastic glue together. I should have to add some putty at some places but it should be easy. The corner stones hide the outside area.

Are all the parts plastic? or are some parts of some other material?

Your work area is interesting. Did you make that box you are working in?

Wow that is cool!

Warlord Games 28mm is not responsible. Wasn't it a lot of family drama that ruined Hamlet? Poor chap…

SgtPerry29 Mar 2012 9:34 p.m. PST

@Margard : All the parts are plastic.

@corporalpat : I must confess that it came from Warlord Games too. I bought it early this year. I really liked it.

All the parts are plastic.

So why did you use super glue then? Liquid poly sticks plastic together far batter than super glue wil ever do.

Dear Sgt Perry

I am also assembling the same kit. I found it difficult to make to corners fit nicely as both sides have lumps and bumps.

I have a bench disc sander with an adjustable fence. I sanded a 45 degree chamfer on each joining edge and the corners went together much better.

In fact, it takes time to dissolve the plastic parts. So I used small dots of superglue to have a faster sticking time (Then the plastic glue can do its own work).

Mick, that is true (and one of the reasons of the use of Superglue).

If you filed the corners, did you check that the destroyed wooden first floor still have enough space inside?

As far as I remember, the floor fit OK.

Ah OK, that's an interesting technique, thanks.
