Thought Id share these upgraded troops. I would think they woulde be useful as upgraded neo sov troops, future SWAT or X-com type earth forces. In fact I think they would fit in anywhere.

looks good

I'm seriously loving your first release, these are an interesting mod. IMHO I find the guns look a bit too chunky and blocky. Either way I'm likely to pick up some packs.

Moqawama23 Mar 2012 2:56 p.m. PST

Yes guns would need to be streamlined a bit,

but the shoulder-weapon is OK as-is,

Eli Arndt23 Mar 2012 2:59 p.m. PST

I think you are onto a nice aesthetic with these guns. They might need a little bit more detail to be up to the same level as others in their category, but the pictures look like they are still a bit WIP, so I figure that'll be taken care of.

The new bulpups are just a tad to blocky, the edges need rounding off in my opinion but your certainly on the right tracks…

Armiesarmy24 Mar 2012 3:04 a.m. PST

Agreed to those comments

I was trying to fit the new weapons to metal sculpts as opposed to the greens. Wanted to see if they looked ok. Ill now work on the greens. More detail, less bulk :)

cheers

Love the weapons!

Am I the only one who sees just black squares with an exclamation mark within a white triangle?

clkeagle25 Mar 2012 6:39 a.m. PST

Same here. Does that mean Keith has to release a 15mm-scale exclamation-point-in-a-triangle? We can put them next to our Khurasan cat-in-a-straw-boater figures once those are released…

I get the "alert" image too

I was already tempted by the Rusks – I wanted to pick up some of them as a human OPFOR for some Khurasan Exterminator Marines – but now I just want a super-cool, Neo Sov Army with bullpups. They'd be great for a Vor: The Maelstrom-esque Neo Sovs – now to just figure out rad troopers and the like…Kabardin APCs are a must…

Moqawama25 Mar 2012 2:13 p.m. PST

Excuse me Fritadas, if you manage to see the pics in questions could you do a screen caption of them and upload them on some sort of image hosting linking the URLs here?

Some of us can't see a thing, and we're getting rather curious!

Fritadas25 Mar 2012 3:43 p.m. PST

Sorry guys, I'm having the same problems you are – I was looking at the older pics at the top of the page.
Chemgrunts, Rad troopers, rad hounds, cyclopses oh my!

Armiesarmy26 Mar 2012 2:45 a.m. PST

Hmmm

gremlins at work me thinks. Ill take a look and see if I can fix it!

Armiesarmy27 Mar 2012 9:54 a.m. PST

Sorry everyone

all is again well though. This tinternet is amazing! Brought to you all the way from India!

Ok here is the slimmer bullpup as promised. Need optic sights on next and a little more defination for the joins on barrel

Hmm… perhaps a bit more added behind where the plasticard "receiver" ends now, as well? Just a personal preference – and they're already great minis.

McWong7327 Mar 2012 5:45 p.m. PST

Similar feedback from me, and coming from the same place as a fan and happy owner of your figs.

AVAMANGO27 Mar 2012 8:27 p.m. PST

If that's the basic shape of the new bulpup it looks good from were i am sitting, i can visualise it with the optic sight and gun barrel.

Stuuuh28 Mar 2012 6:10 a.m. PST

I like the up-gunned version much more then the future-AK47 versions.

Quick Q though: If its a bullpup then what's in front of the right hand, another magazine?

Looking forwards to seeing more work on these.

SpaceJacker28 Mar 2012 6:32 a.m. PST

I liked them better blocky…

Armiesarmy28 Mar 2012 8:44 a.m. PST

Sorry for delays, Im currently working in India and struggling with to much lag, beer and curry…..

bullpup maybe a little misleading in true terms. The magazine is not behind the firing mechanism and If I may change the name. I was just trying to describe that I was producing a more modern looking shorter barreled weapon and bullpup seemed appropriate if not conventional. However as its sci-fi Ill probably stick to its name:)

Ive a few more concepts to try out, so Ill post them up when I finally get back and finish them off. Thanks for all the comments, most welcome
