I have finished my 15mm Dwarf Sculpt and got it painted up. I'm pretty happy with the whole thing. There are lot of things I would do differently if I was to do it again and a lot of things I really liked about it. Even with its flaws I'm willing to call it done.

Included is a mounted dwarf on pony and and a human for scale.

Nice job!

Who manufactures the dwarf riding the pony?

I'm looking for something similar – mounted dwarves that aren't riding bears, sabretooth tigers or big-horn sheep, and are actually 15mm sized. The Eureka ones look good, but way too big :(

BTW, should have said in the first post, great job on the sculpt! I've messed around wth green-stuff a bit but I'm in awe of anyone who makes a figure from scratch that actually looks good! And yours certainly looks in scale with the other two, as well.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm thinking the pony rider was from Essex. Nice figures and a shame I got the after I started sculpting my stuff as my dwarfs are a bit bigger than them but at this scale I'd happily mix with no problems.

Thanks for the info!

I'd agree that your sculpts would mix well with the Essex riders.

I find the beast they're riding pretty cool – it has a sort of musk-oxy vibe that appeals to me – definitely alien/fantasy yet plausible as a riding animal. Well, I wouldn't recommend trying riding an actual musk-ox… but you know what I mean!
