They are far more sinister looking than FEMA characters, especially Matakishi's cat. |

I can sympathize with Dan. I did 3 stints with the 2010 census. The public can be downright bizarre. You would think that I built President Obama out of spare parts in my garage in order to jack up my pay grade. I was working out of rural Connecticut. I finally broke the dress code and managed some survival tactics. Belt length hair, an Army baseball cap and a Frank Zappa T-shirt. The farmers were OK with me but the MC Mansion types wet them selves. It is very difficult to come out to do a simple yet helpful job without rank paranoia jumping in front of you. The main problem, no gaming potential with the census. Oh, I believe FEMA was designed to put us back on the fast track after WWIII. Since no one bought into that movie, they went into disaster management. That would be one for Dan to field. |

"They are out to get me." "No one is out to get you Yossarian." "Do you know who they are?" "No" Then how do you know they are NOT out to get me? |

There is also the angle of FEMA vs "FEMA". "We're with FEMA, what sort of help do you need?" "Funny, that's what the other guys said half an hour ago. So who are you really?" |
