I was gone for a few days but now that I am back I will find the book and publisher.

I sometimes play skirmish games solo, but not trying to simulate random decisions.

When I play solo I just try to imagine what each group would do if I were them, and they do it. I like to imagine what happens and how the situation can change, etc, that's all.
