Isn't a USMC Army Guide an oxymoron since it's the Marine Corps and not the Army?

Yes, that's why it says "OK Army and and USMC in one sentence is misleading… I just wanted to stick to one name for the book type…" above. I established the term Army Guide for Victory Decision supplements that include more than one Platoon guide, therefore the name. GW would have called it "USMC Codex"… ;)
