Yeah, redoubt are so big they almost never mix with anything – too big for 25s or 28s too small for 40s

Redoubt ECW mix well with Renegade. That's about it, although some of their Italian Wars era Renaissance seems to mix in well with others, but not their landsknechts. |

Redoubt ECW mix well with Renegade. That's about it, I don't imagine too many people will care, not surprisingly perhaps, but they both also mix well with "Willie" 30mm ECW figures. |

How are Redoubt's mounted gendarmes and horses, for size and heft, compared with others? |

The Redoubt also go well in size with Artizan and GW, but not really with TAG infantry. Their horses on the other side are on the smaller side of 25mm. Aside from that, the Redoubt are also a bit on the clunky side concering the sculpt – depending on the painting style this may not matter, and their poses and diorama selections are imho unmatched. Only some of the new Pro Gloria come close. If you aim to build an army, get some samples from any producer before you order a big one. A bit of extra postage may save you a lot of trouble. |
