Great work. I really like the way your Panzer turned out. I got box on the bench I haven't started. Looks like I will putting them together shortly. |

Cheers sgt. Other than the wee puzzle over the hatch doors, the kit was pretty simple to put together so you will get them built up really quickly. |

Nicely made! I made a comparison between Pz IV F1:s on my blog. PSC, Airfix and Hasegawa link For wargaming PSC wins easily /Joakim |

Very, very nice. I have to figure out how I am going to fix the commander's hatch though when I build mine. Great job. |

Thanks for that I have a few boxes of PSC PzIV on my workbench, and now I can watch out for the potential mods. Isnt that green thing on the instructions something to do with the aeriels? I can recall the full details, but if you look on Henk van Holland's website it will give you the full story there. An excellent site btw if you are modelling WW2. If you need a Stug quickly, I was very pleasantly surprised by the Armourfast Stugs. Some of their best models. |

Amazing photos of a 1/35th scale model here hsfeatures.com/pxivhir_1.htm which show exactly where that mysterious air cleaner thing goes. I have six of the PSC models on the workbench (why she insists on calling it a kitchen table I don't know) right now. Mine have a closed cupola and an open one, both with the split hatch and a third cupola with no hatch at all. Is this missing hatch a production error at PSC? |

As you were, gentlemen :) Just put the first model together and the 'closed cupola' is actually the hatch assembly; this means I need to find a round hatch from somewhere to complete what is still a very nice model as I want to use the great commander figure supplied. I never could find a place to put that tool box, but the tank looks just fine without it anyway. The tracks were a little tricky to fit; careful alignment first then a quick grab glue and hold them in place while it sets, problem solved! |

Here is how the PSC Pz IV's look next to Armourfast's ausf G's link |

Intelligent fast construction, but the tank is well overscale for 1/72,doesnt seem to tally with any plans I can find and is out of proportion to any 1/72 or 1/76 Pzkw IV I already have. It looks to me that the superstructure is too high, the vehicle is too long, the turret main hatch is too high and too wide
. etc etc. A poor representation. The only match I could find was a Britannia Hummel. Yes, it's that big and clunky. |

Although clearly from Joachim's review it is the same size as the Hasegawa version. |

Not wishing to start an argument, just genuinely interested in questions / differences in scale between manufacturers
Although clearly from Joachim's review it is the same size as the Hasegawa version. According to this article at OTW comparing Esci, Hasegawa and Revell Panzer IVs, the Hasegawa kit is accurate to 1/72nd scale: link So if the PSC version is the same size it should also be accurate? It would be interesting to see some actual measurements to support the assertion regarding the PSC model that
..the tank is well overscale for 1/72 PS Very nice camo Kingsleypark ! |
