A very interesting writeup with backstory for the Tirpitz engaging the USS Idaho. I love it because you never hear about poor Idaho in games usually. link |

Man, there should be Navy Crosses and Presidential Unit Citations for the destroyermen! German damage control efforts were extraordinary, too. |

Thanks for sharing. The fire control critical to Tirpitz right at the start of the action made me laugh-- isn't that pretty much what happened to both Bismarck and Scharnhorst in reality? |
