Jack Scuby, "25mm" Saxon Jagers. They fit pretty well with my 1/72 scale Airfix Napoleonics. 1969 or 70 I'd guess.

ODGW Kenny06 Mar 2012 5:59 p.m. PST

One pack of GHQ M2 Bradleys. Ahhh the memories… <grin>

Mako1106 Mar 2012 6:13 p.m. PST

Mid-1970's – a pack each of GHQ Shermans and StuG III's.

I had to ask the guy a gazillion times what they were called. Given his accent, sounded like he was saying Micromore.

I was finally able to deduce he was trying to say Micro-armor, with a southern accent.

Had the same problem with my cousin, who as trying to tell me about the recent "far".

Even though I was raised nearby, took me forever to figure out he was trying to tell me about the "fire". Could have been speaking Greek, as far as I could tell.

DeanMoto06 Mar 2012 6:42 p.m. PST

Some small Napoleonic British infantry – they sized up well with 1/72nd Airfix. In fact, they look good next to the Highlanders. Couldn't tell you who made them though. Dean

Custom Cast LOTR Spearmen of Ringlo vale, archers of Morthond and Axemen of Lossarnach. Next I bought a Dwarven army. That would have been in the early 70's.

The year 1971, at the Hobby Chest just outside Chicago. My first metal figures Kriegspielers French Napoleonics. I remember some of the castings were so bad that I had to guess where to paint the crossbelts on the grenadier figures.
