These have been out for months.
MJ came back about the middle of last year. They formerly produced some 15s that were very close to classic 40K minis and got a C&D over it.
Personally, I say screw MGM. They got several free, non-profit PC game modification projects shut down that I was looking forward to as about half of them were just a month away from final release just because they were based on Stargate. Pffft. Maybe if they'd make their own Stargate games, I could see it, but they weren't and probably won't and if they actually do, it'll be terrible because it isn't made by fans who carefully take their time to make everything as perfect as possible.
Oh, there was another company that made licensed Stargate minis, but they were terrible quality(Tended to break. Sculpts were alright. Poses were bad.) and overpriced.
To the OP
I see you mention not having seen much Stargate. I recommend it. There's a reason the show went on for 10 seasons and spawned one good offshoot that lasted another 4 seasons and was cancelled needlessly, plus one bad offshoot series which lasted another season and was cancelled because no one would watch it after the other one was cancelled (Fan outrage and all that.)
For the original 10 seasons, about half or more of one of the middle seasons gets really hard to work through. It's just really really boring. The first season is a bit of a rough patch as they figure out what way to take the show, so it's interesting, but leaves plenty of normal questions that are never answered. (Like why does everyone speak English? In Doctor Who, this makes sense as the TARDIS translates everything. In Star Trek, they have those comm badges which if I recall, also double for a universal translator.) By the time you reach the end of the series though, they've introduced an obnoxious character full time and at some points intentionally loses more and more of it's serious tone.
