For those of us of certain age , you may well remember these. Thnere is some original artwork by Roy Cross coming up for sale via Vectis auction house vectis.co.uk – if you are feeling rich. I have bought and sold stuff through them before and they are good to deal with
check out lots 190 – 204.

Whew, it's mostly the art from aircraft kits. If it were toy soldier sets I'd have to mortgage the house.

The artwork for the British AWI (grenadiers attacking uphill a log-built fort) is the best Airfix artwork ever!

Certainly among the best!

BTW Just last week saw some pics from a recentish UK show featuring a model/diorama rendition of the box cover of the Bristol Blenhein. Apparently it wasn't the only one. Will try to dig up details on Monday.

I see they have the 54mm Polish Lancer in the boxed kits, and what I think is the 1/12 Bengal Lancer. Nice models, both of these.
