I would like to get four or five large spiders and a couple of Giant Spiders for some RPG and skirmish gaming.

I want the large ones to be about the size of the GW ones that come in packs of two for LOTR, but NOT at that price!

And the giant ones to be similar size to the Shelob mini. I see reaper do some, but they don't give "size measurements". Any one know of some good minis at reasonable prices. Preferably available in the UK please.

Otherworld have 7 spider packs which range from 30mm to 140mm accross.

might do for a giant one. I'm not sure as to the size of the GW ones for comparison but the character with it in the picture is a good 28mm scaled.

Don't know if Party City (party supply store) exists in UK but I have bought toy spiders for use as the large LOTR ones.

Target stores in the US had some cool 4-6" long ones and packs of smaller 1" ones in the dollar isle in the store in Houston TX near the Champions area.

I like Copplestone's spiders. They're about hound-sized in 28mm.

There was a D&D Minis Huge Fiendish Spider that wasn't bad:

But the Heresy and Ebob spiders are prettier.

How big are the spiders you're looking for? I'm not familiar with GW models, but I am familiar with several of the Reaper ones.

@timlillig – The GW spiders are about 40-45 in span front to back.

Thats for the suggestions. The ebob one and the grendel one look very freaky and scary. Definitely ones to consider. The copplestone casting ones look good too.

I still have a couple of these left.

and I have some reaper spiders left as well.

Note the plastic ones from Party City are pre-painted and are extremely close to GW's LOTR spiders in size and style.

So much so that I was able to field an entire army of giant spiders that would have cost a couple hundred bucks for under $20. USD
