Food manufacturing companies sometimes undertake sponsorship of major shows and conventions. If you were HMGS, which major food company would you encourage to become a sponsor of their major wargame conventions? Nomination rules: 1. Must be a food company, not a beverage company. 2. Must be a national brand. 3. Nomination must mention the company, and explain why they would be a good convention sponsor. |

Why, the best would be Hebrew National hot dogs! hebrewnational.com It's hot dogs to be supplied to hungry wargamers – need I say more! Jim |

Nomination must mention the company, and explain why they would be a good convention sponsor. Any national pizza company, such as Domino's [not the best, but hey] – because, I eat pizza, as do many other gamer's npm |

First they would have to replace what the conventions ell with food. |

I would vote for Round Table Pizza, but it's a West Coast only franchise. Not sure the other pizza chains warrant a vote, but if pressed would go with Pizza Hut, if desperate for a selection. Pizza, and wargaming just seem to be made for one another. I'm sure they'll want to cash in on the lucrative, wargaming convention market. Perhaps I can get them to sponsor my much desired, but still unacquired Great Italian Wars Renaissance Army, for suggesting them – Italian Condotta, since it seems only fitting, and would be a great tie in to their products from the motherland of Italy. Krispy Kreme, for the power breakfast food, before the games get started. Long John Silver's, for any conventions hosting large pirate themed games. The tie in for that seems obvious, and I'll be requesting they also provide a nice pirate vessel and crew for me, for nominating them as well. |

Subway or Quiznos. Seriously the thing I hate most about conventions is the absolute crap food they serve or at least have readily available. After a couple days of the fast food dreck my colon goes into full revolt mode. The last one I went to I ended up buying a Quizno's sandwich off of a fellow gamers kid just so I could get some vegetable matter. |

Subway. We can let them pretend to provide us with healthy options but let's face it gamers will flock to "$5 foot long" sandwiches. |

In the UK I would go for Pizza Hut. As well as pizza they have salads and icecream on tap
And they sell beer! |
Grand Duke Natokina | 09 Mar 2012 2:39 p.m. PST |
I would vote for Domino's Pizza, or maybe Papa John's. Pizza is the perfect wargaming food. |

I admit I get the footlong but I get the veggie delight. Awesome stuff and it doesn't bloat you up. |

C'mon guys, you're missing the obvious pizza choice--Little Caesar's! Yuenging = great choice for supporting Pennsylvania Beer industry; but not Reading Premium Beer! |
