So my big Cossack 1812 game has a wintry snow covered setting, bases and all, my ACW and New England Horror stuff will be set amongst the warm, varied colors of Autumn, and my unpainted AWI collection will someday fight itself over a bright blossaming Spring. Do you build games, base figures, and terrain table tops to represent seasons other than the more prevalent Summer? Can you field a snow covered table? With leafless trees and or evergreens? Table with only Autumn trees? Reds yellows oranges, etc? Spring with brighter grass, white, pink, purple blossoms? Flower strewn fields? [Note to Editor – please remove from ECW board. Thanks!] |

This is one of the reasons I love the desert. It is play time the whole year long. After a dry climate, I like tropical areas, such as South East Asia or South America with dense jungle or lush green savannah. As I play 18th century warfare, most of the conflicts are seasonal, mostly summer. This does however, give me an opportunity to refine the terrain selection. Cheers, |

I do desert and not-desert (ie, green). Winter looks great, but I'm not determined enough to do it myself. |
