Very useful tips. I am painting French SYW Generals and staff, who wear red waistcoats and breeches. Staff figures I am painting all red to offset the large quantity of blue coats. Cheers, |

Awesome work. Do you know if your method of oil washing over enamel and wiping it off specifically works for enamel basecoats? I tried the technique over an airbrushed acrylic basecoat and the cloth was pulling paint off the mini. I was considering doing a coat of future before the wash, but I think that part of the effect is from the wash tinting the matte enamel base coat? Thoughts? |
