We had a mini-Con in Waco, Texas this past weekend. We played a large French Revolution game using Carnage & Glory II rules and 28mm Eureka figs.

Of note the Coalition forces contained newly painted Eureka Suvorov Russians, including 14 battalions of foot and 6 units of Don Cossacks.

Overall we had around 40,000 Austrians/Russians vs about 25,000 French. The game last about 8 hours and ended with a Minor Victory for the Coalition.

The Russians are really nice and I'm particularly pleased with the look of the Cossacks painted up. I didn't have time to base my Russian Grenadier Bns for the weekend. My Austrian lights and Aus/Fr Dragoons are prepped for painting.

Need some Russian senior commanders and artillery, plus those Austrian Hussars and Uhlans, and French Cavalerie!

It was a great weekend. Lots of great gaming, good people and plenty of beer and guy food.

And as the French commander opposing the Russians on the left I have only one thing to say…

I HATE COSSACKS!

Wow, it is really inspiring to see that many troops on the table. I need to get my butt in gear and get paint on more of mine!
