Can't wait!

ATKM a great reason/example of why conventions will continue and be worthwhile. Not only can you see their amazing line of 54mm figures, and how stunning they look painted up. You get to actual play the games and have all your questions answered!

And Rudy and Time Portal's support of HMGS-South predates even my membership in 1999. ALWAYS an outstanding selection of books to include the latest Concord ones (big weakness for me) and always a discount for convention attendees.

Recon and Hurricon, just two more reasons why those of us in the south have it good when it comes to gaming and conventions!

Rob Morse always puts on a fun game! Table, figs, game, always tops. Rob is a great guy as well. I will definitely have to try to get in on this game. Besides I love Rapid Fire. There's another Rapid Fire game being run on Saturday morning by the RBW Crew. These guys run MEGA Rapid Fire games every Saturday morning. Those games are one of the highlights of every HMGS-South con for me! I didn't want to take a chance on missing that one so I preregistered for the game right after I got my hotel room.

Here's a link of some photos posted by Stan Johansson from HURRICON-11. He's a vendor who sells some really cool minis.

I agree with the props for Rob! His zombies games are always fun as well!

Just over 6 weeks folks!

ACWBill16 Mar 2012 7:52 a.m. PST

I agree with Jeff, I only get the chance to play in one game at a convention due to running a game on almost every session. However, last year I did play for the morning session in Rob's game and had a great time. Rapid Fire is a great convention game as it is fast and fun and still give the right flavor of WWII.

Viking "Pigs Wars" fleet battle, oh boy!!!! That's going to be amazing. If I hadn't already signed up for my favorite game of every con (RBW's 15mm Rapid Fire) I'd be in for this. I heard there may be as many as 16 ships plus crews! I'm sure this will be a spectacular game and a visual treat.

Cheers,
JB

Check out these pics (scroll down a bit) of Bill Moreno's WWI terrain for his RECON12 game, The Big Push; Revisited (Part 1)The village of Thiepval was the focal point of the Somme offensive. Try again to take Thiepval! Rules: Great War Warhammer Historical
Bill's games are always a treat from Historicon to Cold Wars, from Recon, to Hurricon, and Rapier, always the best terrain, figs, and games!

Here's the TMP link with pics attached. I signed up for this one too!

For those of you who make the convention circuit Recon12 is also one of Bob Moon's haunts with his excellent games as well.

Where will you be 4 weeks from now? Well for me most probably just getting up, rolling out of bed and then maybe take a stroll on the beach followed by a light breakfast and then some of the best gaming the South has to offer.

Still plenty of time to make your plans to come down and spend the day or the weekend at RECON.

Any TMPers who are there please say hello, love putting a face with a screen name. I can be found in one of the yellow shirts.

Marc
