It's a tie between Lemonades and Thin Mints.

Thin Mints! most definately!
I ordered 8 boxes this year…(will go in freezer be 'doled out' over rest of year…)

and I told the lady who handles the orders for her girl scout troop that I'd 'adopt' any 'leftover' boxes of Thin Mints that folks didn't want/extras 'left over'…

Mwah-hah-hah!

Major Mike22 Feb 2012 7:52 a.m. PST

Samoa's, but Keebler make a similar cookie for a lower price which you can get year round.

Our choices are more limited – vanilla or chocolate (I like chocolate)

Any of the ones I do not have to deliver!

My wife was regional leader for years and years. Every year I got roped into filling my truck up with Girl Scout cookies, and delivering them all over the area. Thankfully my girls have ourtgrown scouts. My favorite fundraiser tho. The cookies are so good, they sold themselves.

I like thin mints.

Dropzonetoe Fezian22 Feb 2012 8:11 a.m. PST

What ones are the coconut ones? Them first and followed by thin mints.

I however ate myself to death on them when deployed – sooo many care packages that it's been a couple years and I am not ready to buy any yet :)

J Womack 9422 Feb 2012 9:03 a.m. PST

I like the shortbreads (once called Trefoils) and the Peanut Butter Patties (don't recall the old name for those) and the old Samoas (pictured by the OFM, above).

ming3122 Feb 2012 9:04 a.m. PST

Somoa here calleds Carmel; delights else where. Cookies with carmel chocolate and caramel . 15 cookies to a box 110 calories in two cookies . same favorite as OFM

MahanMan22 Feb 2012 9:17 a.m. PST

Samoas. Hands down. Growing up with a mother who was a GS leader and a sister who was a GS, I was Not Allowed near the Samoas at cookie time, which I regarded as very unfair. Now my niece knows she can take her uncle to the cleaners when it's that time of year.

Somoas and Dulce de Leche.

The former was cut a few years ago and brought back because of complaints.

anleiher22 Feb 2012 9:23 a.m. PST

The shortbreads. Eating one now as a matter of fact.

Thin mints. Perhaps I should move to Moscow or the Isle of Lesbos where I can get them all the time.

epturner22 Feb 2012 10:05 a.m. PST

Samoas. Herself and Herself The Younger are Thin Mint/Tagalongs fans.

Oddball22 Feb 2012 10:23 a.m. PST

ThanksAlots.

It is not about getting cookies year round, it is about supporting a good organization that builds confidence in young girls.

Each troop that sells the cookies only gets .70 of each box, not each dollar, each box. Takes many cookie boxes for them to support activities. One of which is visiting old age homes in our area (that doesn't cost anything, but show the good things the Girl Scouts do). A three day camping trip does cost money.

panzerCDR22 Feb 2012 10:33 a.m. PST

Thin mints. Especially after they have been frozen in the freezer. Yum!

Skipper22 Feb 2012 10:59 a.m. PST

Whatever one they are NOT selling. Don't know about the rest of you but I get truly sick and tired of the Girl Scout Cookie Mafia shaking us down every year.

John the Greater23 Feb 2012 9:16 a.m. PST

Trefoils/Shortbread cookies. They go great with strong black coffee in the morning.

Frau likes Samoas, so I always pick up a few as well.

Now I await the annual visit from our neighbor girl with bated breath.

J Womack 9423 Feb 2012 5:05 p.m. PST

Thin Mints are from the Debbil!

Samoas and Trefoils are the path to Cookie-vana.
