Franco-Prussian Figures: Photos (Wargamer at Work)

After a full day of wargaming I came home -- still in my WWII Russian hat -- and commenced to re-paint and base and flock my 28mm Franco-Prussian War figures. They are 28mm Foundry purchased from various collections as well as from my own collections. I am assembling a fair size army for a game next month and – perhaps – for Nashcon game.

This is fun. Fingers all full of paint and glue. Here are the photos as a slideshow:

Love the Russian hat. Are you sticking with FPW or will you reach back to 1866-64-59? I'm doing this in 15mm with forces that can work across the whole '59-71 period.

Great! Love the Prussian command group and the French Cuirassiers in particular. One small point, if you are looking for accuracy, the Bavarian Artillery wore an all dark blue uniform, with black collar and cuffs and a red stripe down the trousers.

Cheers,

Mollinary
