Its Polish. C7P Artillery Tractor captured by the Germans. The white cross was a German marking used during the Polish Campaign. There are models of it listed as in 20mm,1/300,1/72nd and 1/35th. "The artillery tractor C7P was based on 7TP tank chassis. The production began in 1935 and about 150 were completed. C7P tractors were used in heavy artillery for towing 220mm wz.32 Skoda heavy mortars (towed in three units); also in light tank units as recovery vehicles and in engineer units." derela.republika.pl/c7p.htm "The Ci?gnik Siedmiotonowy Polski ("7-ton Polish Tractor"), or C7P, artillery tractors were designed by Witold Jakusz of the firm Panstwowe Zaklady Inzynieryjne between 1931 and 1934. The first two prototypes were built in the Ursus factory with the designation of C6P. In 1934, an order was issued by the Polish Army for 360 tractors. They were appreciated by the Polish Army for their durability, cheap price tag, and the fact that they share many parts with the 7TP tanks developed around the same time. By the time of the German invasion in 1939, only 151 were built, 108 of which were deployed to artillery units or used as recovery vehicles for disabled heavy vehicles. After Poland was conquered, production stopped, though the German forces used them as towing machines and snow plows until 1941." ww2db.com/vehicle_spec.php?q=162 Robert

H&R lists the C2P,C4P and C7P in 1/300. The C2P was based on the TKS tankette chassis and the C4P was based on the Polski FIAT 621 truck chassis instead of the C7P which was based on the 7TP tank chassis. Robert |
