I am interested in the buildings and what they look like:

manor house, church, peasant huts, outbuildings and scenic accessories

Budget Battlefield isn't a bad system.

That looks nothing like a Norman or Saxon manor house. A typical manor house would be two floors with accommodation for livestock and storage etc on the ground floor with the human living space on the first floor accessed from outside via an external staircase. Like this:

While not real history for $5 USD I think it might be worth while if you already use paper buildings. It might allow you to try out a new era and game for very little output of cash. If you already had some figures and rules I would plan on better terrain for the long run but that's just me.
