I have plans for my grand shadowbox in the works with all my unit crests, patches, saved worn ranks and other mementos from my time in the Army. But I don't collect others.

I have a few – mostly from units that relatives have been in – but I would not say I am a collector

Yes. I have a substantial collection of British OR's insignia for the period 1908-1918. This includes cap and collar badges, shoulder titles, and trade & proficiency badges. Roughly 1,000 items at last count and still so far to go…

I do have a few odds and ends for WWII as well, mostly formation signs.

Wow enfant, any pics?

I have a few British cap badges from WWI, and moderns from Highland Regimental museums I've visited.

No, I've never gotten around to photographing any of my collection. I keep meaning to, for insurance purposes if nothing else.
