Hello,
just posted a short article with photos about painting the tiny 4mm miniatures made by Tumbling Dice… there are not many pictures of this range around, so I hope that can be interesting for someone… thank you

Nice. You said they are 1/600 or 4mm. Are they larger than Odzial Osmy figures which are listed as either 1/600 or 3mm?

Thanks,

Al

I don't have OO figures but I have been told they are smaller. These are labeled 1/600 by TD but being 4mm I'd say they are rather 1/450 – an interesting scale…

Tuumbling Dice make some interesting ranges in a variety of scales, but their website leaves much to be desired. The links at the top of each product page did not work for me, and scrolling through the many listings (20mm Great War for example) was a real pain in the arse. They should take their ranges and break them down into sub-pages, which would put less product on each page, meaning far less scrolling!

Also, for some reason (probably daftness on my part), I can't find the listings for the Russo-Japanese range. I go to Pre 1950, and find aircraft, no infantry anywhere.

Download the 1/600 catalogue in pdf format and you will find the land miniatures… The website is difficult to browse indeed. Anyway their online service is good…

The infantry are in fact WW1, and can be found in the 1/600 Aircraft pdf. Also, while the website isn't top-notch, TD's service is. I have ordered from them numerous times, and the product and service are A+. I may have to order WW1 german and Russian brigade packs for a refight of the Eastern Front.

I know of several 1/600 aircraft by TD which have been sold for several years at conventions but never make it into the catalog. I wonder what else is missing or hidden in the fine print.
