For years I had a large hardware stor near where I work in Brooklyn. Then they moved to the back of beyond and only service contracters, no retail. I am having a rough time finding a place in Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn that carries Krylon black spray primer. And my last can is gone. There must be someone else in NYC who primes black? Where do you get your primer? Yes, I have black gesso but would like to have the srpay too. |

You might have to barter with a graphiti artist – miniatures for paint. |

Has Krylon primer been the same for you since the switch? They did something to change the primer, and I've heard mixed reports on whether it was as good. andy |

I found a place, Brickman's at First Avenue and Third Street. My last can was old stuff, this is a new can. I'll report back when it's not snowing – don't want to spray today. |

Home Depot (typically) has KRYLON – Did you check the Depot on 23rd, just east of 6th? It is on the south side of 23rd. |

Do "they" allow Wal-Mart in MYC? |

Wal Mart is on 8th Street, but when called they told me (after a long, long wait) that they no longer carry Krylon. Other palces I called that had Krylon didn't have black primer, etc. Thanks ot Brickman's for having what I needed. Now my Great War German Askaris are started. |
