Hi
Just wondering if there are any Dreadnoughts available in 1/2000 or 1/2500 to go with Brigades Aeronefs and Land Ironclads and possibly in the near future suitable for Monsters in the Sky? Now that North Head Minis are no more.

Cheers.

Apologies, I'm after 1/1200 or 1/1250. Put down wrong scale. Doh!!

Are you asking for dreadnoughts or pre-dreadnoughts? If predrednoughts the closest I can think of as wargaming pieces are the old Houston line which is 1/10000. greatendeavours.co.uk/ships

A number of companies make both Dreds and PreDreds in this 1/1250 as collector models. Really to fragile for gaming and expensive. Sometimes you can find a damaged one on eBay for less and can use it for gaming.

There are some generic ships available through Irregular in their 6mm SF stuff called flying dreadnoughts that can be used as surface ships. They work OK

Oh!, I forgot Alnavco. In the WWI section are models by Superior which while still expensive ($20 for a BB)are considerably less than the collectors models from Germany. These are a bit more robust than the German companies models and could probably work as wargame models.

Yeah, I'm having to 'settle' for Alnavco, but I'm going to be bashing a couple kits together for … amusement. The 'Silvana' from Last Exile would scare the daylights out of most of the Aeronef players!
