…had to scratch build these in a hurry to protect the American Army from insessant German Air attacks upon the Kasserine Pass, in Tunisia 43. Visit battlebook.com.

Don't do Facebook

Agreed, I don't do Facebook either. Proper blogs are much better for this sort of thing.

Not much of a Facebooker either, but a friend setup a fan page for battlebook in literally 5 minutes and BINGO! Since one does not have to be a member to view content, I see no harm in using it, and it is quick and easy to post stuff and might show some new folks our hobby who might not otherwise visit TMP.

As for the Bofors, I just swapped out the thick barrels for some thinner brass tubing and flared the muzzles so the guns look muck better now. The wheels are off plastic toy cannons ( from I believe the Marx battleground playset). I used the plastic guns for my 3" anti- aircraft batteries on the Wake Island battle. The model depicted for reference was taken from Google images and is a 1/35th scale Italieri kit. The vehicles with the battery are 1/50 scale Solido die casts.

Thanx to you all and TMP for your support.
