I thought that some people might be interested in seeing more Atlantic and White Ensign photo-etched parts. The ratlines are Atlantic, the railings on the double-ender and the monitor is the White Ensign brand proper.

I did learn a lot about handling the brass. There are a few crunched places on the railings that could have been avoided. What has been surprising is how sturdy they are – 99% of the bends in them were inflicted during my clumsy installation, not by handling after the fact.

Nice!

Safe assumption that the models are all Thoroughbred?

Damn you Lucius!!

I was going to stick with rigging, masts and ratlines and had thought it was not worth doing the railings. Now I am not sure.

And very nice work!

The models above are all Thoroughbred.

Here's one from Bay Area Yards that uses one of the shorter lines of the set. I also added the white posts(brass wire) all the way around the gallery on the upper deck.

Very nice! I especially like your monitor.

Lucius, your miniatures are beautiful. Are the railings also 1/600? The pre-1950's railings? You've really inspired me.

KSmyth – I think that I used PE 612, Rails and Ladders.

The ladders look really great between the stacks on a City class ship.

What size wire did you use for the posts on the Bay Area Yards model, .010"?
