Been holding these little critters for a while, pending paintups, but decided to just rattlecan them up and put them up for sale! Sci Fi cars meant to add interesting terrain features to your wargaming table.

picture

There are two car bodies, a roadster and a sedan. Each set comes with each of the two different car bodies, and with two different drive trains. Shown above are the two grav drives, holding the car up by little pegs that should not be visible at normal table angles. One hover drive has tall pegs, the other short pegs. (The figurine is our popular Desiree Kim model from the Heroes of the Sepulvedan Resistance pack, which was sculpted by Tom Meier and painted by Jennifer Haley, and shown here for comparison purposes only.)

picture

Here's the other car pack, the same two bodies but now with wheeled drives, one insert with three wheels and the other with four.

As with the two grav drives, they fit in either hull. The hulls are resin, the drive inserts are pewter to add a little weight to the model.

John Bear Ross designed these and they were painted by my awesome rattlecan skills. Available now!

Ah, Syndicate, a great game for its time. Nice cars Jon, I'll be picking some up in due course!

Xeno RG09 Feb 2012 11:41 p.m. PST

Hmm . . . I wonder how difficult these would be turn into Technicals?

I'm definitely going to order some soon. These are, oddly enough, the excuse I need to give Khurasan John more money!

infojunky09 Feb 2012 11:59 p.m. PST

Humm…. I know where money is going when I get paid….

Or, asI have said before….

Damn You……

Dragon Gunner10 Feb 2012 12:13 a.m. PST

They look great and will provide excellent city clutter.

Gunbird10 Feb 2012 4:03 a.m. PST

Must haves. How many of my organs can I sell and still live?

John Treadaway10 Feb 2012 4:25 a.m. PST

They are superb. I particularly like the optional drive trains (and anyone that includes a trike* is aces by me).

Well done.

With a wing/winglet added they would also make equally good shuttles, recce/attack pods. I would add an underslung gun to make it a technical.

Good news on these -- long out of production, a new caster has remade them and they are on their way to me! I can guarantee they will be much nicer castings than last time. I still have to get the metal bottoms from another caster but I expect to have those within a week and a half or so.

The price may go up a bit as the new caster is more expensive than my old caster, but when you see them I think you'll be glad to spend the extra buck or so.

CAPTAIN BEEFHEART01 May 2012 7:36 p.m. PST

Thank you so much for the Syndicate screen shots. Great concept, dumb game…Serotonin….

Cdude9301 May 2012 7:56 p.m. PST

What's not to like about a game where you can lure dozens of civvies into one car that inexplicably has room for all of them and then blow it up to watch all of them go running?

Er… was that out loud? :P

The card look great btw, thank you for a wheeled option.

About time too!! I've been waiting very patiently for these. Glad to see they're back.

Any chance of some more designs in the future?

Maxim C Gatling02 May 2012 11:39 a.m. PST

Just my two bits, paint-ups are nice but I like to see them unpainted before I buy them. Khurasan, your pics are much better than a lot of manufacturers out there, so cheers for that.

khurasanminiatures05 May 2012 11:24 a.m. PST

Almost there -- got the resin car bodies in yesterday, and I know that the metal inserts are on their way.

The castings of the car bodies have been really improved, they look superb, but this caster is a bit more expensive than the first one so I may have to bump the price point up a little.
