Splintered Light has released 15mm Cops and Gangsters, does anyone have any ideas about compatible vehicles to use? I thought that some WW2 trucks could be used but no cars. Any ideas?

Try looking for some HO scale cars for model railroads. I prefer them to Hot Whes for 15mm as they are a little smaller (roughly 1:85 as opposed to 1:72 or so I think). Some HW may work if they are vans or trucks.

The Gangster figures look great, kudo's to Splintered Light. I use Worldworks and Fat Dragon Cardstock Buildings. Yhey are scaled for 28mm. Just tell your printer it is printing on 4" by 6" paper and the buiding is automatically reduced to 15mm. Cars and auto's for the period are a bit harder to come by. Thank's for the tip Ed I will have to order some.

I frequently use them for staff cars for my EW WW2 armies.

I went to Walmart this morning and couldn't find any suitable period cars among the Hot Wheels cars. However the Maisto Adventure Wheels had 2 types of 1932 Ford Cars. A coupe and what appears to be a "woodie" . Painted black I think they will work. The best part is the price 84 cents each.

Maestro Adventure Wheels? Will take a look, thanks,
Ed

Update, I ordered 6 various gangster era matchbox cars and trucks from ebay. They are rather large, unless you believe cars should be 10 feet tall. The Splintered Light Gangsters are 15mm not heroic scale 15mm, i.e. 18mm. The Maisto Adventure wheels vehicles are smaller than their matchbox counterparts. They are still too large but not nearly as large as the matchbox vehicles. At 84 cents I will be buying more of them and converting them.

A challenge with HO vehicles is they will be 1940s much more than earlier and prohibition was long over by then, 1933. I believe Blue Moon will be coming out with a range, hopefully soon. And, even larger hope, is that they come out with a suitable range of vehicles. I suspect they will. They do plan to announce new items at Cold Wars and that is only a few weeks out.
