Force of Arms makes a very nice 28mm pair in their Vietnam range: forceofarms.co.uk

The pack includes a reporter taking notes and photographer. The photographer resembles Dennis Hopper's character in Apocalypse Now. I recently painted them both, but unfortunately have no photos yet.

Yes, I have scribes, chroniclers, heralds, war correspondents, sketch artists, newsmen, photojournalists, embedded reporters, film crews, news teams, press parties, muckrakers, vid vultures, and other war correspondents for almost every historical period, from ancient Egypt to moderns, as well as many fantasy and sci-fi settings. I love using them in games.

Sometimes they're just part of the scenery, sometimes they're the subjects of rescue operations, sometimes they're protagonists, and sometimes they're just in the way.

Yes, we use to game Vietnam and the reporter was controled by the VC player. If he was in LOS to an event that gave the VC player VP points, the points were doubled.

Frothers had a really nice reporter & camerman in their zombie sculpting comp.

Thanks Tango and a thumbs up to Major Mike.

Press and Reporters are such a feature of the modern battlefield it is increasingly important to give them a role in the game.

What they feed back to their News organisations is probably more important to the 'results' of conflict than what actually happened (presuming the two could conceivably be different grin ) ….

In multiplayer games, the Press Corps may also give opportunities for less militaristic role players to have a part to play

Ah .. Geoff … Your guy has a longer lense than the PP guy …

Do we need a modifier for that?
