For CY6 BoB games. What brands would you say? Regards, Henk |

I have Scotias, and they aren't too bad, though sometimes the wings get dinged up when removing them from the molds. H&R tend to be pretty rough and a little chunky. If Raiden makes them, they would be your best bet, or C-in-C would also be pretty decent. I went with Scotia mainly for cost effectiveness, but the others are nicer, with the exception of H&R. |

I have Scotias and H&R figures also and they mix great. I've seen the Raiden castings and they are wonderful, but I only have a few, not the Ju-88. Raiden makes a Ju-88 but not Do-17z. link Scotia makes both. link H&R are chucky, but they have worked well with other aircraft I have (ie: all my Zeros are H&R) link Luftwaffe 1946 line of miniatures makes a great line of castings also. They have both Ju-88 and Do-17z link Hope this helps you. |

I would also recommend Museum Miniature in the UK. They mostly have BoB era planes, but they are very nice

The Raiden Ju-88 is superb. |

The Leading Edge planes mentioned by Finknottle above, available through Museum Miniatures are really nice but expensive. I use Navwar but then I`m a Scot and as tight as a DucksAnus. ;-p Fatman |

I, like R Mark, vouch for the Raidens. They produce the Ju 88 A-1 version, which was the shorter wing plane used in the Battle of Britain. Museum's mini is also very good, but is the later A-4 version with longer wingtips. Although it got more widespread use, it wasn't used in BoB, if you care for that sort of stuff ;) Raiden's mini has exhaustive detail in the wings, where Museum's mini if more spartan. I've got the Leading Edge Ju88s which I like. Raiden Ju88s come with bombs so that might be a deal clincher. |
