Very good Eric! I'm also sitting here laughing on a totally different note. When I was writing up the bat rep I couldn't remember the name used for the Anglo-Dane hearth guard so I had sent Alan a text asking what they were called and he replied "Bulwarks" so that what's I used. Unfortunately he had his predictive text on and so his reply should have read "Huscarls"……. |

That is truly depressing. My Welsh shall sally forth tomorrow against some Vikings. Hopefully my dice are more favorable than yours. Nice report. |

No pictures from my battle but the Welsh eked out a victory in spite of some bad tactical decisions on my part. I foolishly lost my lord early when I had to charge a unit of warriors. I was saved by my friends bad dice restricting his battle board choices. We have only played a few games of Saga and are still getting used to the rules but it is a fun game system. |
