Second test finished.
I can convert with these just as easily as 20mm, so for 15mm at least, I'm turned. Yes, I will now sing your gospel. link |

What droids are those? Very, very cool. Dan |
| tberry7403 | 08 Feb 2012 9:53 a.m. PST |
They are from "The Scene" I believe item RB001. |
| Wardlaw | 08 Feb 2012 9:53 a.m. PST |
They're not the droids you are looking for, Dan
Sorry, I couldn't resist! The models are lovely, as is the paint job.

The one in yellow looks pretty slick. Great brush work on all of them. What is the theme of your 15mm "Red' force. |
| Gunbird | 08 Feb 2012 1:30 p.m. PST |
Louie N, Theme will be PRC (China) with a large degree of robotics and tracked forces, plus a sizeable contigent of civillians and other starport personnel for various purposes. |

Those looks really nice. Almost have a Mak/SF3D look to them the way you have them painted up. -Eli |

I've just gone and ordered these from the scene because of you
15mm is giving me too many options, Fallout, Star Wars, Aliens, The Thing
Can't COPE ANY MORE!!!!! |
| Cacique Caribe | 09 Feb 2012 4:32 a.m. PST |
15mm The Thing? Are you the ONE we have all been waiting for? TMP link Dan |
| isdblues | 09 Feb 2012 4:42 a.m. PST |
Interesting link there Cacique
I've already got my 15mm civvies undercoated ready for painting, bought a load of GZG civvies and space-suited guys. I've been wanting to game the Thing for some time, just need to find the right minis for it
Trying to get as much out of them (GZG stuff) as I can so I'm getting them ready for any of the games mentioned above, although outdoor snow capably peeps I seem to be somewhat lacking in at the moment, alas my sculpting skills are not good so I'll have to wait for someone to release some. Two of my GZG civs will be Thingified (one male, one female) ready for gaming hopefully this weekend – I'm sure I can manage some freaky tentacle things
Others will become scientist types and/or Imperial officers for my Blasters & Bulkheads games (mixed in with the odd Jedi-alike). I am a Cylon. I have a plan. |

Welcome to the 15mm side. Its lovely. |

Back to the OP though – Gunbird, they look brill. What's the unpainted quality of the casting like? I've ordered them anyway along with two of the wheelybot designs but it's always nice to know in advance ;-) |
| Gunbird | 09 Feb 2012 3:53 p.m. PST |
Casting is great. Mine had hardly any mouldlines, cleaned up in a whistle. The other type of bots I have have some more pronounced ones but nothing a file and some elbow grease could not handle, so less then a minute of cleanup time for those. I'm stuck on the wheelybot as they are to small to draw a decent face on them but I don't want to go the blue screen of death or monochrome green version either. What to do, what to do. |

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! But pass it carefully -- if you drop 15mm ammo it can be a bear to find again. |
