I am startig a 15mm fantasy collection and did some test painting recently. You can see my results here. captains-blogs.blogspot.com

I started working on a pizza box dungeon, but I put it to the side for a little while until I get some figures painted. Any suggestions for cheap 15mm dungeon doors?

Thanks for looking

I would cut the doorway out and apply a larger piece of carton on the inside to represent a door. Do paint the door before glueing or taping to the inside.

If you are planning to build more terrain pieces, then check the GW website for useful tips or purchase their Terrain Making book. It is a good investment.

Cheers,

Nice work! Definitely use a wash (paint thinned with water) of black or dark brown to shade your figs. There are many tutorials out there to help you out. And remember, not all Orcs are green. grin I paint mine shades of gray, brown, red, and black in addition to classic green to represent different tribes. A pizza box dungeon is a great idea! I use scraps of balsa wood, scribed to look like boards, for doors on many projects. You can leave them natural wood, or stain gray or brown. BTW, pizza boxes also make passable storage containers for 15mm figs if they are not too greasy!

Here is one of my favorite terrain making sites to maybe give you some more ideas…
