Don't think they will last long. The figs are about an inch tall. The packs I saw mixed figs from The Old Republic and Empire eras. At least one pack was all troopers though. The vehicle scales are all over the board. I doubt the line will last long but there is gaming potential. The figs are a bit super-deformed…but no more so than Galactic Heroes.

Oh…and AMC theaters are giving away a free set if you see the 3d Phantom Menace on opening weekend.

I had a completely different image in my head when he said Super-Deformed.

I thought he meant that the figures were all bent and warped. I see he is talking about the Manga/Anime style though.

Very cute.

Funny…
Hasbro dropped the Star Wars minis and RPG lines to replace them with this dross… frown
beer

So… you line up your COLLECTIBLE toys and throw things at them?
Are we regressing to HG Wells? grin
Dirt bombs in the back yard?

Where are the tables of charts leading to charts leadng to charts?
Where are the Critical Hits that take 5 minutes to resolve and end up shooting off the hood ornament?
THAT is a realistic wargame!

BTW, I thought they were talking about "pods" as in "pod racing".
I got them all from the Micro-machines and had quite a few games with them, both with home rules and the HAWKS rules.

They'd look great in a sort of Star Wars version of Super Dungeon Explorer or Warheads sort of thing.

But I agree with richarDISNEY.

Hasbro's gotta do something to revive the dying toyline- even utterly stupid garbage like this

HornetsNestMinis09 Feb 2012 8:52 a.m. PST

This is a expanding of the SW toy line to appeal to younger kids. My 4 and 5 year old both expressed an interest in these. It falls in line with many other toys on the market. So calling it stupid garbage?

And for what its worth, Hasbro has brought back the die cast minis that so many folks on here use for their wargames.

Plus the fantastic 30mm SW white metal line now exists…

I know this will upset some but I HAVE TO GET SOME!

No idea why but I love them grin

Could be 'cause I do not take gaming in this genre seriously…

So… you line up your COLLECTIBLE toys and throw things at them?

So it's like the Attactix game, where you pound your toys with each other. That was such a good idea, it's no wonder it's so popular. Hey, wait a minute …
