Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a good website for painting miniatures please? I'm looking for something that covers the basics as well as going onto some of the advanced techniques. Does anyone have a particular favorite, one that you think yes i learnt some really useful stuff on that? I know there is no substitute for doing things yourself but it helps in the early stages of learning to paint miniatures to have someone recommend ways of doing things.
Many thanks for any suggestions.

Thank you guys, all very much appreciated. I just needed a bit of help just to get the basics going. Hopefully in a while i'll progress on to the more advanced stuff but for now i'll settle for getting paint on the figure in all the right places.

I tried painting my first figures last night!!!! Suffice to say they are now in the painting stripping bowl having the paint removed. I felt like a Swiss watch maker using a sledge hammer! I really do hope that it gets easier with practice. I have quite small nimble hands so i wasn't expecting it to be as hard as i found it. I really was utterly hopeless. I shall keep practicing but please someone tell me it's like that for everyone when they first start? I just need a bit of reassurance that it gets better with patience and much practice.
