I am looking to buy some 25/28mm Seleucid Cataphracts preferably similar to the illustration on page 36 of the latest copy of Ancient Warfare.

Any suggestions?

How annoying that you can't edit the thread title!

There are some soon to be released from Relic miniatures. They look pretty sweet.

You can either go with some Gripping Beast (which are nice) or personally I would wait until Aventine Miniatures do them – these will definitely be head and shoulders above the rest for quality.

1st Corps …

Fantastic models

The first company that makes plastic cataphracts will sell a lot of them.

A Parthian army is a little out of my price range in metal.

I don't mind the price as much as the weight myself.

Yes, the 1st Corps model look very nice.

I've checked the picture in Ancient Warfare.
There are a few that look almost the same, except for the leg protection. I've never seen any models like that. It is also the first time I see that kind of leg protection in a picture.

Anyway, you might want to check 1st Corps and/or Old Glory. I have both, and they both look very good for their price.

Navigator (now owned by Magister Militum) do Seleucid cataphracts with that transverse crest on the horses; I have a unit. Their unit packs (12 figures) are pretty reasonably priced.
