RISK Legacy is an innovative take on the RISK franchise and boardgaming in general. The more you play the game the more it evolves.

I've been considering this one. I give credit to Hasbro for letting their designers really change things up with the Risk franchise in ways they haven't with their other (stale) lines. Providing a campaign game experience and something of a narrative is well beyond what most games deliver.

I've heard some folks complain about the "disposable" nature of the game, but really, if you actually get 15 plays (the length of the campaign) out of a boardgame, you've certainly gotten your money's worth.

I agree if you play 15 games with four people the cost per player is not too bad.

Additionally, after 15 plays you still have a playable game with all of the fond memories of how the game got to its current state (BTW – 15 plays seems to be an average… not a hard number).
