I saw this message today, "Google Friend Connect will dissapear on 1st March for all the sites out of blogspot.com."
Time to move to Wordpress?

If your site uses the connect and is not hosted on blogspot then you are reccomended to move to Google+ This was detailed in link but I've yet to see a site using this that is not on blogger. Even mine are their but the address is my own – blog.kings-sleep.me.uk – not sure if I will be impacted but from what I can see not. At a recent Sage show, a 'Fellow' from Google clearly stated this was the way forward for their collaboration and expect to see it more and more… It may not hurt to add the plus option and make sure your rss feed works well and pop a post explaining a reader is a better tool to use? Wordpress has plenty of options with a few here link So the way I read it is if you move the gadget will not work on the new site… |

More Google+ changes here link To read the blog as a traditional blog have a look at buzz.blogger.com/view/classic Think Google are missing a trick here – I selected the blog look I wanted and have no real wish to change it at the moment – with WordPress I can stay the same where as I may have no choice under Blogspot… Maybe its time to re-visit kings-sleep.info |

Ive spent all morning setting up my podcasts google+ Im sad to see friend connect go, everyone has a blogger account/gmail address NOBODY is on google + |
