Hi all,

While digging around on Amazon this weekend, I came across this book. Has anyone read this?

I'm hoping it's an interesting look into the actions this unit was involved during our period. Ideally, it would give me a good feel for the uses Hussars were put to, in both larger battles and while on campaign (scouting, foraging, etc.).

I'm looking for scenarios fodder, for skirmish and squadron-level games.

Thoughts?

Thanks very much.

No not really my period, but I am definately going to get the second volume covering the Napoleonic wars – the QOH are the first Brit Hussar unit I want to do with my Perry Plastic Hussars, so thanks very much for bringing this up!

So apparently none of us have read this. I've "taken one for the team" and ordered a copy. I'll let you know how it is :-)

I have not read it but originally published in 1910 or 11. The link to the Amazon listing is to the Leonaur print on demand reprint. Sometimes Leonaur editions do not include maps or illustrations from the originals although I am not sure whether that is the case with this one. Expect Victorian-style military history.
