Back at Historicon 11, I picked up a set of Eureka Miniature's first Corpse & Musket line release: Napoleon Blownaparte and Napoleonic Zombies. When a friend decided to do a Napoleonic Zombie Retreat from Russia 1812 game at the upcoming Cold Wars convention, I had a reason to paint them and some other Napoleonic zombie conversions up.

I never knew such figures existed!
Good job on them.

Hmmm. They're OK for earlier in the war, but for the retreat from Moscow the blood should be a darker red, almost a maroon.

:)

More seriously, nice work. I love the guy being grabbed from behind. Ouch!

Nice figs! Already signed up for the Cold Wars game. Can't wait to play!

Thanks for all the kind remarks, guys! I'm glad you liked them.

I think they look great..

(it's good to know that I'm not the only one running a game with these figures.)

I can't wait to see your friends game.

Hi Moe,

What game are you running? Is this for Cold Wars too? I'd love to see what you've come up with.

Definitely stop on by if you have the time. I have a unit of these figures that still need to be painted up, but the bulk of my "themed" zombies are Victrix/Mantic plastic mash-ups. I'll have to get pics posted soon.

Not into this stuff AT ALL, but that name is as good as any I've ever seen – in or out of the hobby. Blownaparte! Love it.
