I've just ordered Conquest Miniatures C18th Jesuits. I already own the Trent Miniatures Friar Tuck. (mediaeval, of course)

How suitable are these for religious orders in Mexico in 2nd half of C19th? RO costume tends to be very conservative so I assime I can get away with a lot, but can convert them (ho ho) if necessary. Any thorts?

The hats are a bit big, but the monks as noted were very conservative – I use the Foundry friars from the Conquestiare set for Mexican monks from the Mexican-American War all the way up the Mexican Revolution

The Jesuit wearing his hat – the figure is a 2 piece casting – seperate hat! So very easy to convert to the right size…

How big /what shape should the hats be?
